Data Analyst: Product

Who We’re Looking For:

MyHealthTeam is looking for a motivated, product-focused analyst to join our analytics team. You will report to the director of analytics and serve as one of the data team’s primary members in support of all things related to product management and development.  

You’ll support the company’s Product Team by identifying and tracking key performance insights, implementing and analyzing experiments, and providing deep-dive analyses to better understand the impact we have on our growing member base. These efforts will be visible to all levels of the organization and are key to driving decision-making.

What You Get To Do Every Day:

  • Creating metrics and generating reports to track the effectiveness of product feature changes
  • Planning and executing A/B tests and other experiments to aid in product decision-making and rollout
  • Performing uplift analyses to ensure that the expected results of decisions scale
  • Creating statistical modeling
  • Understanding and modeling the impact of product rollouts
  • Creating and running SQL queries for analysis

What We’re Looking For:

  • Two to five years of experience in analytics and/or product management
  • An understanding of the product development cycle, including when and how to perform experiments
  • Experience creating SQL queries
  • Intermediate-level statistical knowledge about subjects like distributions and long tails
  • Intellectual curiosity (not just answering the question being asked, but looking at the results and thinking about what deeper dives may be necessary or relevant)
  • Experience working with visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or QuickSight
  • Ability to communicate complex or heavily quantitative concepts to a nontechnical audience
  • Experience applying the above technical skills in a business environment
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to develop clear presentations
  • Ability to ideate, plan, and execute new ideas and experiments, with an understanding of topics such as design, sample sizes, and variable dependencies

This is a full-time, remote position. When work conditions are safe to allow us to go back to an office environment, you will have the option of working in our downtown San Francisco office. We are offering a great opportunity to make a difference in the health care space.
