Software Engineer

Who We’re Looking For:

MyHealthTeam is seeking a software engineer to join our Development Team. You’ll be part of a small, agile team building and managing the fastest growing social networks for people living with chronic health conditions.

Our tech stack is built around Ruby on Rails, Elasticsearch, Foundation/jQuery, and MongoDB running on AWS. We’re looking for developers with some experience in any of these core technologies and a readiness to learn and grow in others.

What You Get To Do Every Day:

  • Collaborate with the Development Team to build and manage MyHealthTeam’s social networks
  • Keep an agile and test-driven mindset 
  • Be an all-rounder who can work as a full stack developer or manage our production AWS environment 

What We’re Looking For:

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science or math, or the equivalent professional experience 
  • Experience with Ruby on Rails, MongoDB, JavaScript, CSS/Sass, jQuery, or AWS
  • Familiarity with TDD/BDD
  • A love for clean code 
  • Motivation to work on projects that make a difference for people with chronic health conditions

Skills That Aren’t Required, but Definitely a Plus

  • Experience with ZURB Foundation and Elasticsearch

Expected Salary Range

 $100,000 — $170,000
