Video Producer/Editor

Who We’re Looking For:

MyHealthTeam is seeking a hardworking, passionate, and experienced Video Producer/Editor to be a key member of our growing Video Team, dedicated to making impactful video content for people with chronic health conditions. MHT short-form videos include inspirational patient stories, medical tips and advice, explainers, branded content, and more. Reporting to the Video Team’s executive producer, this remote, nonunion, full-time position is an excellent opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about consumer health and experienced in digital video production.

What You Get To Do Every Day:

  • Write, produce, and edit short-form digital video content, including patient stories, medical expert advice, explainers, and internal video requests
  • Cast and interview medical experts and people with chronic health conditions
  • Produce mostly remote video capture and occasional on-location shoots, requiring directing talent, hiring crew, renting equipment, managing budget, and planning all shoot logistics
  • Develop, pitch, and produce new ideas and concepts
  • Create treatments and presentation decks
  • Collaborate across departments, communicating clearly with client alliance managers, content editorial teams, vendors, and freelancers
  • Manage and deliver projects end-to-end, on schedule, and within budget
  • Edit video for different formats, research b-roll and archival footage, add graphics/music/sfx, manage media, and do basic color/sound finishing in Adobe Premiere
  • Stay up to date on AI, technical developments, and industry standards to help improve workflow efficiency and quality

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of producing and editing experience in digital video production
  • A background in digital video and consumer health and pharma
  • A track record of producing high-visibility video for large-scale audiences
  • A portfolio of work showing editorial judgement, technical skill, and creativity
  • The ability to interview individuals on a wide range of sensitive topics, such as emotional stories and medical content
  • Experience producing remote shoots and field producing
  • Expertise and technical savvy in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and Google Workspace
  • Professional writing and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort with handling and managing multiple projects and using project management tools in a deadline driven environment
  • A detail-oriented, organized, curious, proactive, and independent self-starter, a good listener, and a team player
  • An interest in consumer health, health equity, and patient advocacy
  • Someone located on the West Coast or in the Pacific time zone 

Skills That Aren’t Required, but Definitely a Plus

  • Motion graphics and VFX savvy
  • Experience with Asana, OpenReel, Zoom recording, and Brightcove

Expected Salary Range

 $80,000 — $85,000
