Eric Peacock and Mary Ray started MyHealthTeam in 2012 to make it easy for people diagnosed with a chronic health condition to connect with others. Now, MyHealthTeam addresses 90% of the chronic condition population and is changing the way millions of people manage their lives and health.
Eric Peacock
Co-Founder and CEO
Eric Peacock, co-founder and CEO of MyHealthTeam, is passionate about empowering people facing chronic health conditions. He uses his own product as a member of MyVitiligoTeam and myCOVIDteam. Millions of people rely on MyHealthTeam’s 56+ condition-specific social networks for information, resources and support. Recognized for leading innovation in patient education and activation, Eric is often quoted in publications including FiercePharma, MobiHealthNews and MM+M. He was recognized as a DTC Innovator in 2019 and was named to PM360’s ELITE list in 2018.
He has spoken at conferences such as SXSW, Cannes Lions Health, BIO, SCOPE and Digital Pharma. Eric previously worked closely with patient communities in his role at Perlegen Sciences, focused on understanding the genetic underpinnings of chronic conditions. He is a graduate of Stanford Business School and Harvard College.
Mary Ray
Co-Founder and COO
Mary Ray, co-founder and COO of MyHealthTeam, has a deep understanding of consumer behavior and social networking which has made the company’s websites and mobile apps a daily habit for millions facing a chronic health condition. Her innovative vision for digital health solutions has transformed the way people connect with others who share their diagnosis, facilitating unfiltered conversation and accelerating access to trusted information. Recognized for building scalable platforms that drive consumer engagement, Mary was named to the Inc. Magazine “Female Founder 100” list and the MM+M “Hall of Femme” in 2021 and was honored as a DTC Innovator and a PM360 ELITE in 2019.
She has spoken at conferences including the DTC Forum on Social Media and Technology, Health Datapalooza and Digital Pharma. Mary is an advocate for women in technology and has served as a SXSW mentor. She is a graduate of the College of William & Mary School of Business and George Mason University.
Elizabeth Luce
SVP Partnerships and Partner Operations
Elizabeth Luce, EVP of Partnerships and Partner Success at MyHealthTeam, works closely with partners to develop, implement, and measure patient engagement programs – including patient education, research and insights, clinical trial recruiting, and media and advertising.
Previously, she founded AllerPal – an app to improve care of children with food allergies – and Claros group, a strategy consultancy. Elizabeth holds an MBA from Babson College – Frank W. Olin Graduate School of Business, and she earned her bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Tufts University.
Tomas Melian
SVP Marketing
Tomas Melian, SVP of Marketing at MyHealthTeam, leads the company’s growth across its 42 condition-specific social networks – helping diagnosed patients quickly connect with the people, information, and support they need to better manage their health and condition.
He brings a track record of marketing success with companies including Vivino, Pandora, Blizzard Entertainment and others. Tomas earned his BA in economics and psychology from Claremont McKenna College and has studied at the University of Madrid and Yale University.
David Wygant
SVP Product
David Wygant, SVP of Product at MyHealthTeam, drives innovation of the MyHealthTeam experience – ensuring it’s easy for people to connect with others and find trusted information, across the company’s web and mobile apps.
He has previously led product teams at companies including LoveToKnow Media, Visually, Dictionary.com (an IAC company) and others. David earned his MBA from Harvard Business School and completed his undergraduate studies in business at Southern Methodist University.
Dante Gaudio
EVP of Community
Dante Gaudio, EVP of Community at MyHealthTeam, works closely with health care marketers and ad agencies to create premium programs and impactful products that reach patients and help improve outcomes. With 25+ years of in-market experience, he is a trusted, collaborative leader in the digital health industry.
Prior to joining MyHealthTeam, Gaudio was the executive vice president of revenue and media strategy at Healthline. There, he delivered tremendous value by growing top-line revenue five times over — to more than nine figures. Prior to that, he excelled in health care-focused media sales and managerial roles at The New York Times and Meredith publishing.
Sara Michael
Executive Vice President of Content
Sara Michael is Executive Vice President of Content for MyHealthTeam, where she oversees the unified content org. She was previously Senior Vice President & Group General Manager, Health at Dotdash Meredith, where she was responsible for the editorial and business strategy of Verywell Health, Verywell Mind, and Health.com.
