Healthline veteran brings 25 years of pharma advertising experience and a proven track record of dynamic revenue growth
SAN FRANCISCO, CA/July 18, 2024 — MyHealthTeam, creator of the largest and fastest-growing patient communities for people facing chronic health conditions, announced the hiring of Dante Gaudio as executive vice president, partnerships. He will report to CEO and co-founder Eric Peacock. Gaudio will be responsible for leading the media sales team and doubling the size of that business by scaling innovative programs to engage the over 27 million people who visit a MyHealthTeam community annually.
Gaudio has proven success in connecting health care marketers with patient audiences through unique programs and impactful products. With his decades of in-market experience, he is a trusted, collaborative resource to both ad agency and pharmaceutical marketing executives.
Most recently, Gaudio was the executive vice president of revenue and media strategy at Healthline. Over his 16 year tenure, he delivered tremendous results for investors by growing top-line revenue five times over — to well over nine figures. Gaudio also led Healthline’s New York City office for more than a decade, with Healthline Media earning a “Best Places to Work” award from Ad Age for three consecutive years (2018-2020). Prior to that, he excelled in health care-focused media sales roles at The New York Times and Meredith publishing.
“I’m thrilled to join the global leader in patient communities, where people living with chronic or rare conditions can trust MyHealthTeam’s medically reviewed information and connect with people who share their condition,” explained Gaudio. “MyHealthTeam is growing rapidly and gaining tremendous momentum with both patients and health marketers, and I am privileged to help continue their well-earned success and to further improve outcomes for patients and partners.”
“Dante is a highly respected sales leader who has scaled a business to over $100 million in revenues,” said Peacock. “He is known for bringing his clients innovative campaigns that help to educate and improve the lives of patients, and that always deliver incredibly high performance and return on investment. We are thrilled to have him joining us at this time of rapid growth.”
Gaudio will assume the role previously held by Christian Pran who, along with Beth Luce, executive vice president of strategic partnerships and business operations, grew MyHealthTeam revenues five-fold over the past five years. Pran is staying on with the company and transitioning into a business development role focused on creating new revenue streams for MyHealthTeam. Luce will continue in her role, partnering with Gaudio on the next phase of growth.
