Director, Alliance Management

Who We’re Looking For: 

MyHealthTeam is seeking an experienced account management or client service expert to join our Alliance Management team. This person will help build strong relationships with partners and maintain industry-leading standards for client delivery. This Alliance Management role requires excellent project management skills, strong communication, problem-solving skills, and a drive to exceed client expectations.  

The director of Alliance Management will engage with clients on projects from contract signature through completion and renewal. The director will be responsible for managing the success of MyHealthTeam’s engagements with a portfolio of client partners with multiple projects spanning different phases. This includes managing active projects’ execution as well as driving renewals and upsell opportunities in partnership with our Business Development team. This person will be highly strategic and will deliver actionable insights or recommendations to client teams. The director of Alliance Management will work with cross-functional teams to deliver experiences that meet or exceed user, client, and MyHealthTeam business goals.

The director of Alliance Management will be responsible for the following:

  • Managing the success of MHT’s engagements with a portfolio of pharma client partners with multiple projects, such as:
  • Custom content creation based on client key communication objectives and patient research
  • Clinical trial education and recruitment  
  • Content and experience optimization focused on driving patient engagement
  • Ensuring project success by setting client expectations, coordinating with our teams to track and deliver on KPIs and results, and ensuring clear communication across teams and with the client throughout the project
  • Collaborating with MyHealthTeam subject matter experts to bring the most effective mix of internal offerings forward for each project
  • Presenting MyHealthTeam’s recommendations and insights for pharma and agency clients
  • Building strong client relationships through proactive communications and solutions that go beyond project delivery to demonstrate value for the client business

  • Leading meetings with clients and internal teams to collaborate based on results, opportunities, and best practices sourced from cross-functional learnings
  • Driving results for partners by developing a strong understanding of their definition of success through a consultative approach
  • Ensuring the work we do delivers on client goals and leaves clients looking for more ways to work with MyHealthTeam
  • Supporting repeatable and scalable processes in all aspects of the work to maximize opportunities to serve partners and the members of MyHealthTeam’s social networks
  • Managing priorities on timelines — you’re not phased (and in fact you thrive) when you have a lot going on. You’re comfortable juggling many time-sensitive tasks across projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Remaining motivated through long project-implementation cycles and the bureaucracy of industry — you have a knack for keeping things moving and being collaborative in this industry.

What We’re Looking For: 

The right person for this role:

  • Has five to seven years of experience in client service 
  • Has experience with pharma disease state educational content development or clinical trial education and recruitment
  • Has a sophisticated understanding of the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries
  • Has experience bringing projects through the medical legal review process to launch
  • Has superior written and verbal communication skills with significant proficiency presenting to clients (primarily remotely but also in person)
  • Is excited to roll up their sleeves and engage with internal cross-functional teams in a startup environment
  • Is a proactive self-starter who will seek out and define opportunities, including for their own personal growth
  • Is adaptable in their approach, enlisting and embracing input from those within and outside the organization
  • Takes a “land and expand” approach to relationships, understanding that MyHealthTeam is looking to build long-term relationships with our partners
  • Has the ability to work effectively at all levels, with the gravitas, charisma, and knowledge to be credible in all business situations

Expected Salary Range
$120,000 — $140,000
