Director, Alliance Management

Who We’re Looking For: 

MyHealthTeam (MHT) is seeking an experienced account management or client service expert to join our Alliance Management team. This person will help build strong relationships with partners and maintain industry-leading standards for client delivery. This Alliance Management role requires excellent project management skills, strong communication, problem-solving skills, and a drive to exceed client expectations.  

The Director of Alliance Management will engage with clients on projects from contract signature through completion and renewal. The director will be responsible for managing the success of MHT’s engagements with a portfolio of client partners who have multiple projects in different project phases. This includes managing the execution of active projects as well as driving renewals and upsell opportunities in partnership with our Business Development team. This person will be highly strategic and will deliver actionable insights or recommendations to client teams. The Director of Alliance Management will work with cross-functional teams to deliver experiences that meet or exceed user, client, and MHT business goals.

What you get to do every day: 

  • Manage the success of MHT’s engagements with a portfolio of pharma client partners who have multiple projects spanning different phases 
  • Ensure project success by setting client expectations, coordinating with our teams to track and deliver on KPIs and results, and maintaining clear communication across teams and with the client throughout the project
  • Collaborate with MHT subject matter experts to bring the most effective mix of internal offerings for each project
  • Present MHT recommendations and insights for pharma and agency clients
  • Build strong client relationships through proactive communication and solutions that go beyond project delivery to demonstrate value for the client’s business 

What Success in this Role Looks Like:

  • Driving results for partners by developing a strong understanding of their definition of success through a consultative approach
  • Ensuring the work we do delivers on client goals and leaves them looking for more ways to work with MHT
  • Creating repeatable, scalable processes and approaches to maximize opportunities to serve partners and the members of all MHT social networks
  • Managing priorities on short timelines (You’re not fazed — in fact, you thrive — when you have a lot going on. You’re comfortable juggling many time-sensitive tasks across many projects in a fast-paced environment.)
  • Remaining motivated through long project implementation cycles and the bureaucracy of industry (You have a knack for keeping things moving and being collaborative in these environments.)

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5 to 7 years of experience — a background in consulting or customer success is advantageous
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, a hard science, or a related field, or 10 years related experience
  • A sophisticated understanding of the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries
  • Experience bringing projects through the medical legal review process
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills to present to clients primarily remotely, but also in person
  • Excitement to roll up your sleeves and engage with internal cross-functional teams in a startup environment
  • Initiative to seek out and define opportunities, including for your own personal growth
  • Adaptability in your approach, enlisting and embracing input from those within and outside the organization
  • A “land and expand” approach to relationships, understanding that MHT is looking to build long-term relationships with our partners
  • Ability to work effectively at all levels, with the gravitas, charisma, and knowledge to be credible in all business situations

Expected Salary Range
$110,000 – $140,000
